Florida 27 Residential Recycling Pick-up Policy

 

Collection Schedule

  • Timing: Set out your recycling bin no later than 6 AM on your designated collection day.

  • Location: Place the bin at the front of your house (do not take it to the curb).

 

What to Recycle

Florida 27 Recycle collects:

  • Aluminum/Tin

  • Cardboard/Paper

  • Glass

  • Plastics (including grocery bags)

  • Styrofoam

 

What Not to Recycle

Do not include:

  • Clothing

  • Construction materials

  • Auto parts

  • Electronics

  • Paint

  • Batteries

 

Important Guidelines

  • Items must be empty and clean—no traces of food, please!

  • If you’re unsure about an item, when in doubt, throw it out! Including non-recyclable or dirty items can contaminate the recycling stream and result in equipment damage.

  • Bins with waste will not be emptied and will be left for you to sort. Pickup will default to the following week.
